Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo a Filipino traditional happens every dawn of 16th to 24 of December.
I had just attended the Simbang Gabi here in Nuestra Senora de Gracia Parish Church in which the Simbang Gabi always starts on 15th of December at 9 in the evening. I with my 2 brothers, my auntie, my cousin and my cousin's cousin. Then father said that "when we sacrifice, we will get a prize". Because in every sacrifice we are doing there is always a prize.
It's only one hour every day to sacrifice to go to church, attend mass, and pray for God.
